State Museum Special Programs and Traveling Exhibits:
“Dinosaurs: Mesozoic Monsters” – An amazing 6500 square foot exhibit that features twenty fearsome robotic dinosaurs including Triceratops, Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Deinonychus!
“Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race” – This exhibit examines the eugenics program that formed the scientific basis of Hitler’s efforts to build a nation of superior Aryan beings!
Guided Tours – Highlights of the State Museum!
Panel Discussion – Science Careers for the Future!
Presentations – By the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL), DHEC, US Geological Service (USGS) and others!
College and University Fair
More than twenty colleges and universities from throughout South Carolina and surrounding states will have their recruiters present and dozens of science programs will be represented including the health sciences, applied sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, biology, chemistry, and physics!

1. Pre-registration fee (SCJAS Members*, Before January 15, 2010): $12.00
(Registration includes admission into the S.C. State Museum, tickets for special exhibits
Dinosaurs: Mesozoic Monsters and Deadly Medicine, all workshop activities, and lunch.)
*Note: To be considered a current SCJAS member you must have paid your SCJAS dues
to Dr. Edna Steele, Treasurer for 2010. If you have not paid you dues or have never been a
member, then you should register for this workshop as a non-member and that will include
a one year SCJAS membership for 50% off the normal price.

No lunch is included with late or on-site registrations. You may get lunch on your own at the State Museum
or surrounding Vista area.
Challenge Bowl Team Registration: $10.00
